Orthopaedic Inpatient and Outreach Therapy Team
6 Month Secondment / Fixed Term Contract
We are looking for a dynamic Band 7 physiotherapist to join our service in the Integrated Care Service Division at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. This exciting opportunity is suitable for highly experienced physiotherapists who are motivated to lead the physio input in the orthopaedic therapy service and to be the clinical lead and orthopaedic expert on the trauma and elective wards at the Royal Bolton Hospital.

* Clinical Lead for trauma and elective orthopaedic physio for inpatients
* Managing a caseload of clients with complex needs
* Clinical audit and service development/evaluation
* Organising and implementing training programs for staff
* Team working across settings.

* Ability to expertly use and apply a range of assessment and treatment techniques
* Weekend working as the needs of the service require
* Leading service development initiatives and operational team management
* Deputising for the team leader as required

* Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
* Short specialist courses at masters level or equivalent
* Clinical Educators/Field worker course or equivalent

* Broad base of relevant clinical experience prior to specialising and extensive experience of working in the speciality area
* Experience of managing a caseload of clients with complex needs
* Experience of managing staff
* Experience of multi-disciplinary working
* Experience of student education within the workplace up to graduate level and supervision of senior and junior staff and students
* Experience of clinical audit and service evaluation and experience of project management/service development
