They have a new job opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join their established good-rated service, based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. This neuro rehab service provides specialist care to individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries and complex care needs.
Responsibilities
* Conduct advanced assessments of patients with complex physical and cognitive needs.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address functional deficits and promote independence.
* Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and speech therapists.
* Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Provide clinical supervision and support to junior occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants.
* Oversee the professional development and performance reviews of junior staff.
* Lead and participate in service development projects to improve the quality of care provided.
* Implement and evaluate new treatment approaches and technologies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes.
