Divisional General Manager - Women's & Children's

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Divisional General Manager for Women's & Children's at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a key position within the Division's leadership team. Reporting to the Divisional Director and Chief Operating Officer, the Divisional General Manager will be responsible for operational service delivery for the Division.
Main duties of the job
1. In conjunction with the Divisional Director and Divisional nurse, be responsible for operational service delivery for the Division of Women's & Children's across all Trust sites.
2. Responsible for the provision of timely access to care, ensuring delivery of the Divisional annual activity plan and national access standards.
3. Ensure active Divisional engagement in the delivery of key improvement programmes, such as theatres and outpatients.
4. Provide visible, compassionate leadership to all Divisional staff.

Qualifications/Training
* Experience equivalent to the attainment of degree qualification
* Evidence of continuing professional development
Knowledge and Experience
* Significant senior leadership and operational management experience within an acute Trust, including the effective leadership of teams across a range of services
* Proven track record of leading the delivery of timely access to care to meet national access standards
* Proven track record of leading teams/services through the annual business planning process, developing activity plans and delivery of the annual activity plan
* Proven track record of successfully managing a significant service budget and delivering a financial improvement/cost improvement programme
* Leading and delivering service change/quality improvement
