Our Client, an innovative leader in the water reuse and sustainability sector is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. This full-time role requires nationwide travel and maintenance of water reuse systems, ensuring clients achieve optimal water savings. The position involves working closely with multiple departments and offers training for engineers new to the water reuse industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality maintenance services for rainwater harvesting products, including filters, UV disinfection, electrical controls, pumps, and valves.
Diagnose and resolve system issues, recommend solutions, and perform remedial works.
Ensure compliance with WRAS and British Standard BS EN16941.
Work closely with the sales and operations teams to meet customer expectations and maintain system performance.
Complete system assessments, provide reports, and suggest solutions for non-operational systems.
Deliver the highest level of customer service and always represent the company professionally.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth project delivery and continuous product knowledge improvement.
Working Away from Home:
The role involves regular travel across the UK, with up to 3 nights away from home per week.
Travel is typically conducted in a company van with an assistant engineer, but occasional public transport may be required.
You'll be expected to work flexibly, sometimes beyond contracted hours, to accommodate travel and ensure timely job completion.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
Strong mechanical, plumbing, and electrical skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving license.
Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to think on your feet.
Team player with a positive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous learning.
Willingness to travel and stay away from home regularly.
What's on Offer:
Starting wage: £11.75 - £16.22 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Potential earnings: £32,000 - £40,000 per year, including overtime.
