Financial Operations Manager\nNewcastle, Gateshead\n£45,000 - £50,000\nOffice Based,\nMy Client is a dynamic and growing Lender dedicated to providing exceptional support to our clients and funders. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Operations Manager.\nFinancial Management:\n * Manage funder liquidity by maintaining accurate records of funding lines to facilitate the placement of loans nearing completion.\n * Oversee ‘Track 1’ Management, including:\n * Processing payments biannually, amending standing orders as necessary, and drafting contracts via DocuSign.\n * Generating and distributing personal statements for each funder, setting up payments, and managing funds that require return.\n * Ensure timely transfer of interest payments to the correct accounts and log all incoming interest.\n * Prepare monthly reports, including the Balance Sheet, ‘Track 1’, and profit sheet, for submission to the accountant.\n * Conduct bank reconciliations and provide weekly statement balance updates to the Managing Director every Friday.\n * Provide weekly cash flow reports to the Managing Director to ensure sufficient liquidity for upcoming payments.\n * Ensure accurate recording, filing, and reporting of all financial transactions.\nDocumentation & Compliance:\n * Collaborate with the Underwriter and Managing Director to prepare relevant documentation for funders for loan completion.\n * Maintain and update records for lenders/funders and assist with possession and default claims as required.\n * Address enquiries from assignees and funders promptly.\nPayments & Bookkeeping:\n * Process monthly payments for invoices, employee wages, and expenses, ensuring timely receipt of payslips.\n * Manage company credit card bills and log invoices into QuickBooks.\n * Maintain all investor spreadsheets, including Institutional, Track 1, and ‘Track 2’.\n * Reallocate funds when loans are redeemed, updating spreadsheets accordingly.\n * Ensure all lender spreadsheets via the HUB and OneDrive are accurate and up to date.\n * Communicate with ‘Track 2’ investors regarding updates on their investments at the end of each month.\n * Manage key funder emails, requesting updates on loans and extensions.\n * Coordinate Institutional funder audits and visits.\nAdministrative Support:\n * Assist colleagues with queries, booking hotels, and arranging office meetings.\n * Manage the office phone line, addressing multiple daily calls with various inquiries.\n * Facilitate the onboarding of new employees, including creating folders, accounts, and logins.\n * Ensure the office is adequately stocked with supplies.\n * Manage post office visits and handle incoming business correspondence.\n * Draft necessary documentation and support the wider team with ad-hoc requests.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive salary.\nOpportunities for professional development and career advancement.\nA supportive and dynamic work environment.\nProven experience in financial operations, bookkeeping, or a related field.\nProficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.\nStrong attention to detail and organisational skills.\nExcellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
