As an Income Collections Officer, your primary mission is to ensure the business receives timely rental and service charge income, while also supporting customers in managing their payments. It's a balancing act between hitting income targets and providing excellent customer care.

What you’ll be doing
* Customer Engagement: You'll regularly communicate with tenants, understanding their circumstances and helping them find sustainable ways to manage payments.
* Income Management: Taking accountability for income collection and debt reduction targets for a patch or arrears band across various tenure types and income streams including rent and service charges.
* Support & Advice: Identify when tenants may need additional support, signposting them to internal support teams or advising them on welfare benefits.
* Policy Adherence: Apply the company’s income collection policies consistently and fairly, ensuring all actions are compliant.
* Team Contribution: You'll help improve processes, support change projects, and contribute ideas to boost efficiency.
