The Sales Management Director is key to achieving this transformation and supporting our new approach to marketing, pre-sales, and the sales ecosystem.
Role Mission: The primary mission of the Sales Management Director is to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness through the strategic use of technology and process optimization. Key objectives include enhancing customer relationships, improving sales productivity, and achieving overall business goals through the sales management tools.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, ensuring effective utilization and strategic direction on Salesforce.
2. Lead the Contract Lifecycle Management processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
3. Oversee the development and maintenance of the mediation and integration platform to facilitate seamless data flow and communications.
4. Implement and manage marketing automation tools to enhance sales outreach and effectiveness.
5. Ensure the architecture, development, and maintenance of sales management systems are scalable, reliable, and secure to meet business demands.
6. Define and execute the IT strategy for the sales management function, aligning with sales technology and digital strategies.
7. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders across various zones and channels to support the sales management function.
8. Build and manage CRM 2.0 and oversee other relevant responsibilities to enhance sales effectiveness.
People Management:
1. Oversee multiple teams located in various countries to ensure alignment with corporate sales objectives.
2. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and teamwork among diverse teams.
3. Implement performance metrics to evaluate team effectiveness and align individual goals with overall organizational objectives.
About You
Education and Qualification Background:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Technical knowledge in Commercial Order Management, APIs, automation, security, DevOps, and scaled agile processes.
3. Experience: Managing sales management systems – 5 years, working in telecom – 15 years, cross-location ways of working – 5 years, managing System Integrators and product vendors – minimum 5 years, Executive business stakeholder management – 3 years, Budget management – 3 years.
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
1. Extensive knowledge of CRM systems and best practices to support sales initiatives.
2. Proven experience as an IT leader, managing large-scale programs effectively.
3. In-depth understanding of the Telecom industry, specifically related to B2B business.
4. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and ITIL practices to foster effective team dynamics.
5. Experience in transforming legacy software development practices into standardized, scalable solutions.
6. Strong drive, autonomy, and initiative-taking abilities, coupled with a proactive approach.
7. Expertise in navigating complex organizational structures to drive business outcomes.
8. Experience managing system integrators and product vendors to ensure quality delivery.
9. Outcome-focused mindset with a strong interest in technological innovation and efficient testing processes.
10. Demonstrated leadership in managing tech teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
11. Ability to think creatively and adapt to changing business models.
12. Rigorous execution skills with high standards for technical quality and deliverables.
13. Proficient in supplier management, contract negotiations, and budget oversight.
14. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey successes and challenges effectively.
15. Proven ability to lead, steer, and grow developer communities to ensure team cohesion and development.
16. Fluency in English for effective international communication.
17. Strong understanding of ODI architecture, TMF eTOM framework, and Open API standards.
