Job Title: Supply SEND Teaching Assistant Location: East and North East London Contract: Temporary/ Supply Basis (Long-Term or Day-to-Day) Age Groups: KS1 and/or KS2 We are looking for a passionate Supply SEND Teaching Assistant to join primary schools in East and North East London, providing a warm, supportive environment for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting SEND children, demonstrating strong empathy and a patient, understanding approach. As a supply SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support students with their learning and development, whether that be day-to-day or long-term basis. Responsibilities:
* Help support the preparation and delivery of educational activities tailored to the needs of students with SEND.
* Adhere to school policies and safeguarding guidelines, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all students.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
* Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and team members.
* Support the development and well-being of students with SEND, promoting their academic progress and social inclusion.
Requirements:
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
* Experience working with SEND students, preferably in a school setting.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Exhibit patience, empathy, and resilience.
