The Business Portfolio Manager acts as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to business leaders, aligning technology solutions with the Council’s strategic vision and service outcomes. This role ensures that the Council’s digital roadmaps are outcome-focused, deliver clear ROI, and maximize value from technology investments. Serving as the key interface between ICT and business areas, the role facilitates collaboration, drives strategic alignment, and manages a cohesive technology portfolio. It also fosters innovation and ensures partnerships with external organizations are strategically aligned to achieve shared goals. • Flexible and adaptable work style; strong demonstrated work ethic that emphasizes customer focus, quality, and continuous improvement. • Broad knowledge across technology, digital and data (including mobile, cloud, ERP, business intelligence, portals, web, IoT) and the ability to quickly assimilate new skills. • Experience in developing and leading IT- business relationships, and driving tangible business outcomes through identification and delivery of technology and digital solutions.
