Hugely successful, growing business based in Wakefield currently require a Management Accountant join their expanding team. Working in a well -established business, with continuous development at the heart of what they do; you will be involved in a variety of duties. The role is for an Management Accountant- offering an excellent all round finance opportunity, with varied responsibility and lots of exposure to commercial aspects of finance. They will provide huge scope for progression both parallel and vertical opportunities that will open up during your time in this business.
Reporting Directly into the Senior Management Accountant you will be responsible for:
* Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts including monthly manufacturing cost centre reports and variance analysis.
* Providing insight into manufacturing performance to the Operations Director and Head of Commercial Finance.
* Presenting figures at the monthly manufacturing review meetings
* To fully integrate within operations, partnering on projects and decision making.
* Calculating standard costs
* Support the annual budget process, submitting operations forecasts.
* Support the continued improvement of the accounting system, Sage X3, to ensure accurate cost recognition across the business.
* Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
* ACCA/CIMA/AAT part qualified with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
