At RDaSH we are looking for a compassionate Nurse Director (Nursing and Facilities Directorate) to work with us in delivering high quality, safe care.
This position requires a leader who is highly innovative and personally motivated to work with a care group leader’s, backbone service leader’s and several multi-professional teams who support a high standard of patient safety, clinical governance and professional development.

Lead the ongoing review, development and implementation of the Trusts Quality Improvement Strategy. Support the development of a strategy that promotes a culture of ownership and accountability whilst encouraging innovation & staff empowerment.
Responsible for ensuring rigorous systems and processes are in place to deliver on the Clinical Governance Agenda playing a lead role in the development of clinical practice and ongoing assurance of high standards of clinical quality, safety and experience across the organisation.
Key portfolios within the role include Safeguarding, Reducing Restrictive Interventions (RRI), Health & Safety, IPC, CQC Compliance, clinical effectiveness, resuscitation and facilities.
The post holder will, under the direction of the Deputy CNO, will take a senior lead in the management and delivery of the Trust’s Strategic Objective 1 relating to all our 28 Promises and specifically aligned to the Nursing and Facilities portfolio are Promises 1-5. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the 8b Head of Quality and Promises to efficient, effective, successful and innovative delivery and continuous development of the Patient safety, Carer and Community team, and Promises 1-5 implementation wider across the Trust.
