Timeplan Education Services are very pleased to be recruiting for a Senior School Administrator to support a primary school in the Borehamwood area.
This role is versatile and hands-on, ideally suited for someone with previous school-based experience (preferred but not essential). The key objectives and responsibilities are as follows:
1. To complete numerous administration tasks within the school office to ensure the smooth running of the school, including uploading documents to the school system, filling out and filing documents by hand, and dealing with front office queries from staff members, pupils, and parents.
2. Ordering and maintaining supplies within the school office as necessary, ensuring that everything is well stocked and organized.
This is a fast-paced role, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure, as school offices can often be hectic.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Experience with minute-taking.
2. Liaising with parents, carers, teachers, and other school staff throughout the school day.
3. Handling sensitive information and paperwork, sometimes relating to children and safeguarding or welfare issues.
4. Ensuring school systems are up to date and information is accurately uploaded, including the use of systems such as SIMS, Bromcom, or ARBOR.
5. Logging and monitoring attendance.
6. Answering the telephone and responding to parents via email, as well as completing ad-hoc tasks as needed.
This is a full-time, temporary position (with the potential for it to become permanent if suitable for both the candidate and the school), 5 days a week, 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.
If this sounds like the role for you, please apply or for more information, contact Tom at Timeplan Education.
