Role Details: Salary: £26,072 Bonus: 10 % Performance Related Bonus Equipment Provided: Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Mobile Phone Main purpose of role: As part of Acosta Europe, you will join our high-performing team, taking charge of enhancing the performance, awareness, and availability of Nestlé Cereal brands across convenience retailers. Your role will involve educating key decision-makers on optimizing their cereal category to expand their product portfolio. Acting as the face of the brand, you will conduct retail store visits within a designated territory, focusing on business development by boosting product distribution, increasing sales rates, and enhancing in-store visibility. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Performance - Completion of predetermined quantity of store visits per day aligned to client KPIs - Achievement of the sales order generation and distribution target - Negotiation and maintenance of increased space/incremental displays - To promote and educate staff and consumers on the client brand and associated product SKUs - To consistently identify and deal with the decision-maker in each outlet, building professional and effective working relationships accordingly. - To consistently identify and deal with the decision-maker in each outlet, building professional and effective working relationships accordingly - Continual contribution to other activities that generate return on investment Compliance - To ensure that all client products have the allocated space as per agreed objective - To ensure that all briefed lines within the client portfolio of products are on sale in each outlet - Enhance the quality of display by placing specified products in secondary locations and/or in an impulse area of the store as appropriate - Check all depot and account promotional literature to ensure client products are featured in addition to reporting any discrepancies via the predetermined communication channels Data Recording & Reporting - Ensure all response data is recorded 100% accurately via the data recording tool - Take high quality photos of activity completed with concise descriptions - Report any issues with Global Connect that prevent accurate or timely reporting, including scripting or system issues to the Account Executive team - Provide prompt and thorough feedback concerning unforeseen changes to store activity or changes to client promotional brief via the agreed communication channels Channel Insight - Provide insightful and actionable feedback on market intelligence/ competitor activity - Provide insightful feedback on any changes to retailer in store procedures/systems - Keep abreast of trends, news and information concerning the channel in which you are working Technical - To utilise sales data, case studies and other material supplied to pre-sell upcoming activity in order to gain incremental stock orders and displays in store - To have a thorough understanding of in store systems in order to gain orders and to carry out corrective actions - Use data and case studies to build robust and credible selling stories to the key decision maker in order to gain orders Financials - Monthly completion of expenses - Reconciliation of own float, monies and stock in line with predetermined reconciliation process Administration - Management of journey plans in line with the client briefing process - Ensure that the 'in-car' point of sale material and promotional material is available in sufficient quantities to meet retailer's needs at all times - Completion of depot record cards following each visit - Annual completion of retailer accreditation training - Attendance at monthly team meetings Other Requirements - Regularly read and follow Company policies and procedures at all times. You will possess demonstrable experience within FMCG, retail or a sales environment, although we will also consider applications from motivated individuals with experience from other sectors. You will be passionate about the amazing brands we market and have the drive and tenacity to succeed. You must hold a full manual driving licence and be able to travel within a defined territory.
