We are seeking a motivated research assistant to join our team at the Leicester Cancer Research Centre (Department of Genetics, Genomics and Cancer Sciences). This post offers an exciting opportunity to work within an internationally recognised group involved in basic, clinical and translational cancer research. You will assess novel therapeutics in cell lines and primary samples and mechanisms of drug resistance in haematological malignancies. This will involve the use of a range of techniques such as tissue culture, flow cytometry, protein and gene expression analysis (including analysis data from RNAseq and mass spectrometry). About you You will hold a Honours degrees in a relevant discipline and/or will have relevant experience and knowledge of working in a biochemical research laboratory. You will have experience in quantitative research methods and data analysis relevant for the research programme. You will have good organisational and communication skills, collaborating both with external and internal stakeholders and you will engage in duties and opportunities to support your own professional development.
