We are seeking a Shift Maintenance Supervisor to join a market-leading international manufacturing organisation based near Barsnley. The Shift Maintenance Supervisor package starts at £49,500 with a basic salary of £48,368 which is due to rise in April, and includes an operations incentive bonus and premium overtime opportunities and generous holiday allowance, plus 3 additional shutdown days What's on offer as Shift Maintenance Supervisor: Basic salary: £48,368 per annum (due to rise in April), plus bonus, overtime at a premium (x1.5 and X2) Shift: Panama pattern of 12 hour shifts working a combination of days 6am - 6pm and nights 6pm- 6am (weekly average of 42 hours) Holidays: 25 days holidays, plus bank holidays in lieu and 3 days shutdown Pension: 5% Employer and Minimum of 3% Employee Benefits package: Share options, Health Plan and Occupational Health, and cycle-to-work scheme, etc. Development: Various training and career development opportunities available, including health and safety training, leadership and management training, cross-skilling and upskilling Job security: within a market-leading, international manufacturing organisation. Responsibilities of the Shift Maintenance Supervisor: The Shift Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the engineering shift team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely Supervise and lead the engineering shift team which includes 3-4 direct reports to ensure smooth operations Coordinate maintenance and repair work on machinery and equipment Ensure PPM tasks are completed and work with others on PPM and AM improvements Manage and develop maintenance work lists for immediate deployment during planned / unplanned stops Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance Collaborate with other departments to improve op efficiency. Essential Qualifications & Experience of the Shift Maintenance Supervisor: Proven experience in an engineering supervisory role Recognised NVQ / EITB Apprenticeship HNC Engineering or ONC significant experience COMPEX Elec or Mech Awareness of the practical implications of all relevant Statutory legislation (PUWER, EAWR, LOLER, Risk Assessment, PSSR, CDM)If interested, please apply now
