We are currently looking for an Electrical Control Panel Design Engineer to join our team and help us continue to build a culture of excellence. Job Description: Working alongside JJ Loughran electrical engineering staff to deliver control panel designs for construction and then supply to our customers throughout the UK & Europe. Assisting with the design of control panels and liaising with our production department to ensure control panels are built to meet our customers specification and need Key Responsibilities: Design of electrical control panels using E Plan, Autocad and Amtech software; working alongside our design engineers Working with specialist CNC copper bending and hole punching technology software interfaces Design of PLC I/O schedules and programming Assisting in the roll out of control panel builds by directly liaising with production department and customers Carrying out valuations and tracking variations for ongoing projects Management of as fitted drawings and handover documentation to our clients Essential: Successful completion of a MEng/BEng/BSc/HNC/HND qualification in either Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Building Services Design, including pathways combining versions of some of these degrees Candidates should have a driving license and possess a willingness to learn and develop their engineering skills in a fast-paced engineering company at the forefront of our field Desirable: Experience in a similar role Proficient in the use of CAD Place of Work: Based at JJ Loughran Head Office, Cookstown, Northern Ireland.
