Job Description:
As Maintenance Technician Mechanical, you will maintain and repair all production equipment to ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and safely to minimize downtime.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Perform corrective and preventive mechanical maintenance.
2. Repair production and processing equipment as well as utility-related equipment.
3. Support the installation of new equipment.
4. Ensure all repairs are documented.
5. Maintain a clean, orderly, and neat work area.
6. Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly.
7. Participate in BOPEX (continuous improvement) program.
8. Comply with all procedures, regulations, and policies applicable.
9. Stop and report unsafe operations and use mandatory PPE as defined.
10. Offer flexibility in working hours subject to business needs.
11. Be available for on-call work outside regular hours.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or Technical Qualification or equivalent by experience.
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Awareness of HACCP, food hygiene, and safety requirements.
- Fluent in English.
- Computer skills required.
- Experience in working in repair and maintenance of machinery in a food or drink manufacturing environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a team.
