Personal Care Support Mentor
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Mentor who has experience with Personal Care and working with children and young people.

We're looking for applicants who are seeking a full-time, long-term temporary role that will last until the end of the academic year.
Role Overview:
1. Provide high-quality care to an individual who needs personal care/intimate care support.
2. Support the young person in daily activities.
3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with the young person.
4. Contribute to keeping records updated and assist with transportation.
5. Provide support in class and mentor the young person outside of lessons.
6. Act as a role model to the young person and communicate effectively.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in supporting children and young people.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature.
4. A good general education to Level 2.
5. Demonstrate English and Maths skills equivalent to Level 2.
6. Proven experience as a Personal Care Assistant.
7. Enhanced Adult and Child workforce DBS (update service).
