Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and parents, ensuring they are greeted in a warm and professional manner. Manage the school's front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organised, and welcoming at all times. Handle a variety of administrative tasks, including managing school correspondence, filing, and maintaining accurate records. Assist with student attendance records and liaise with parents regarding absences or appointments. Support the school leadership team with scheduling meetings and coordinating events. Ensure safeguarding policies are adhered to when dealing with visitors, children, and sensitive information. Perform other administrative duties as requested by the headteacher or senior staff. Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working as a school administrator or receptionist is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff. A friendly, professional, and approachable manner. Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and confidentiality. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and school management systems (desirable).
