Dispatch Team Leader
Duration: Temporary - Permanent
Salary: £13-14p/h DOE
Location: Halifax, HX3
Hours: Monday to Friday 8AM - 4:30PM (Flexibility is required for the role, earlier starts and later finishes where needed)

Stafflex LTD are actively recruiting for a Dispatch Team Leader, with experience working in a fast-paced environment. You will have the chance to take full ownership of the packing/distribution area, be responsible for the protection of manufactured goods, in readiness for collection and direct delivery to customers.

General Overview:
1. Take ownership of the packing/distribution area workspace and organise the same accordingly.
2. Have a clear understanding of packing techniques/materials and offer the best solution to suit the type of application.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Take responsibility for goods inwards ensuring that any ordered goods are received in good condition and reporting of any shortages.
2. Arrange external couriers as and when required.
3. Arrange collection of materials from suppliers.
4. Work area must be kept clean and tidy and free of clutter.
5. Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation and company guidelines.
6. To provide a service to clients and maintain a good customer relationship as a priority.
7. To act at all times as a representative of the department and ensure that the customer is satisfied.
8. Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the post including objectives as required by Management.
9. Ensure work is produced to a level that is in accordance with company quality standards.
10. Receive direct instruction from Line Manager & Senior Management.
11. Work additional hours as and when required to suit work order levels deemed necessary to fulfil company requirements.
12. To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
13. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibilities of the post.
14. To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
Requirements for the role:
1. Must have an in-date FLT Counterbalance licence.
2. Must have good organisational skills.
3. Be able to manage and motivate a team.
4. Have good communication skills.
5. Be able to work to deadlines.
6. Team leader/Supervisor experience, working in a fast-paced environment.
