In a nutshell Following our successful transition into our new Engineering & Maintenance System and suite of e-mobility applications within Engineering. VAA are striving to become a fully mobile, paperless world leading engineering function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary Fleet Technical Management (FTM) Support team within Virgin Atlantic's Continued Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). We are looking for a team of individuals to help improve our CAMO processes, manage system modifications and developments, and play a key part in adherence to our data governance strategy within our Part M and Part 145 Engineering functions. We are keen to hear from engineers with an appetite to learn, a keen eye for detail and ideally demonstrate knowledge of Continued Airworthiness Processes. The FTM Support team is a fast paced and varied environment where the workload comprises day-to-day core tasks and a mix of medium and longer-term technical projects. Your support will be critical to ensure the integrity, accuracy and efficiency of Virgin technical data and processes across all disciplines. Your personal and professional development will be supported in this role too as there will be many opportunities to broaden your technical competence. Day to day Your role is likely to include elements of the following departmental work: Provide engineering technical support to FTM specialism teams as departmental workload demands. Compile maintenance documentation aligning to the company's Part CAMO and Part 145 approvals. Support Engineering projects. Collate, manipulate, analyse and present technical data / recommendations to support technical decision-making. Interrogate E&M system for data and process accuracy. Investigating anomalies to determine root cause and apply corrective and preventative actions accordingly. Propose and develop system / process improvements within our engineering tool(s) About you Do you have a keen eye for detail, an appetite to learn and improve Virgin Atlantic engineering processes. If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you We require applicants to have the below skills and experience: You will have a Degree/HND in an Engineering-related subject or a background in Engineering Systems. You will be able to demonstrate awareness of National Airworthiness Authority (NAA) regulations, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) documentation and aircraft technical publications. Flexible and adaptable, you will be excellent at multi-tasking and prioritising. With a collaborative approach, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills together with the ability to problem solve. Previous Part CAMO experience, and knowledge of Virgin Atlantic's existing fleet of aircraft is highly desirable.
