We’re looking for a Project Engineer - Oil & Gas based in Scotland.
*For all field roles – offshore work is required, so individuals must be trained or willing to be trained.

What you’ll do:
* Lead technical specification/design for Power, Load bank & Complex Offshore Applications, including control systems design and build
* Plan & manage 3rd party/ FAT inspections, liaising with internal and external personnel
* Carry out offshore tasks including installation, commissioning, watchkeeping, breakdowns, and surveys
* Support Aggreko Service Engineers and assist in their development
* Support QHSE regarding offshore safety, including procedures, legislation, incident investigations, method statements, and risk assessments
* Perform routine servicing, repairs, and allocation of plant to meet contract requirements
* Conduct complex fault finding and repair of power products
* Manage plant release, return, and spares; stay updated on industry developments
* Act as a single point of contact for projects, managing expectations and communicating progress
* Ensure proper documentation of modifications and designs
* Assist with site design, product modifications, and documentation updates
* Create accurate bills of materials and support sales, procurement, and engineering teams
* Support other business areas as needed
* Adhere to quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
* Technical capability with a City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent
* Experience with offshore equipment installation, commissioning, and watchkeeping, plus third-party document control systems
* Knowledge of DNV or NORSOK standards is desirable
* Valid, full driving license; ability to work out of hours and be on-call
* Good PC literacy, including MS Office
* Well organized, capable of managing client expectations under pressure
