Are you an experienced Liability Claims Handler / Legal Professional looking for an interesting and varied job?
We are recruiting a Senior Claims Handler to work in the Insurance and Claims Handling Team.andnbsp; With a large deductible, Sunderland City Council handles the majority of its liability and motor claims in house.andnbsp;andnbsp; This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to deal with a variety of employers liability, public liability and motor claims made against the Council and other organisations.
You will also be responsible for overseeing the work of other members of staff
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills are key for this role as you will be working directly with the public and solicitors, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with difficult or sensitive claims.
You should have experience of handling liability claims and be motivated to take on this challenging role.
