Are you an experienced Controls Engineer looking for a varied and rewarding role with a leading bespoke machinery manufacturer?
Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Controls Engineer with PLC programming experience to join a well-established, growing manufacturer in East Lancashire. The successful Controls Engineer will ideally have Allen Bradley / Rockwell experience but is open to all other major PLC vendors.

The Role - Controls Engineer
1. Develop and modify PLC & HMI software to optimise machine performance.
2. Could suit a graduate with a couple of years programming experience, right up to a seasoned Controls Engineer
3. Carry out workshop testing & onsite commissioning (UK-based, 95% domestic travel).
4. Work 70% office-based, 30% customer site visits (1-2 weeks per trip).
5. Collaborate with Control Engineers, Electrical Design Engineers & a supportive Team Manager.
6. Create technical documentation using MS Office.
7. Ideally qualified to ONC/HNC level.
Location & Benefits
1. Based in East Lancashire, commutable from Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington, Colne & Keighley.
2. Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 + overtime.
3. 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
