Description About the role The Financial Controller is responsible for managing and overseeing all financial operations, including the preparation of accurate financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulations, while implementing efficient financial controls and systems. The Financial Controller supervises and mentors the finance team, manages cash flow for liquidity, and coordinates audits. Additionally, they provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to optimize performance, cost control, and profitability. Formal qualifications (CA/CPA) and considerable practical experience in financial management, reporting and control Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance Hands on experience with Oracle NetSuite, Aurion and ELMO The ability to organise and control major accounting and performance reporting systems is also required Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory and compliance issues, and tax planning Skilled in financial assessment and business case development Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a number of projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines Leadership and people management skills A highly analytical mindset with superb problem-solving skills Ability to liaise confidently and effectively at all levels both internally and with external vendors Next steps This role will actively commence recruitment from the date of advertisement.
