Lead Veterinary Surgeon – West Midlands
We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a thriving independent veterinary practice in West Midlands as a Lead Veterinary Surgeon.
If you’re an experienced, confident all-round Vet with strong surgical skills and a passion for leadership, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
The Role:
* Salary: Up to £85,000 p/a (DOE)
* Schedule: 3-5 days per week with a 1:3 Saturday rota (flexible work patterns considered)
* Key Skills: Strong surgical bias, confident in diagnostic imaging, and excellent organizational abilities
* Preferred: VetGDP and OV (CA) qualifications
* Holidays & Benefits:
* 6 weeks annual leave (including bank holidays)

* £1,500 CPD allowance (plus 4 CPD days/year)

With a strong focus on providing exceptional veterinary care, the practice also prioritises the wellbeing and development of its staff, offering a supportive and friendly environment.

* Separate dog and cat waiting areas
* Dedicated pharmacy
* Three consultation rooms
* Spacious prep room, sterile theatre for advanced procedures (soft tissue and orthopedic), and a separate dental suite
* Digital X-ray and two ultrasound machines
* Fully equipped in-house lab with IDEXX haematology and biochemistry machines
* Comfortable staff facilities
