We have an excellent opportunity available for you to grow your career and make a difference at Birds Eye Joining us as the Senior Logistics Manager, you’ll be responsible for the management of all logistics operations for the UK and Irish market, covering both the day-to-day operations and the implementation of strategic projects/change activity within the UK&I region. This is a key role within the UK & Ireland Supply Chain team, where you’ll be required to optimise the UK&I logistics network, balancing cost, and service whilst maximising operational discipline in the transport and warehouse network. You’ll operate as a key stakeholder in the UK&I Logistics Team with input into the multi and within year strategic development and implementation. Y ou will also be responsible for: Implementation of the logistics strategy to achieve the highest levels of customer service and productivity across the cluster network. Deliver the execution of the in-year operational plans and change activity for the markets. Operate the performance, operational relationship and contract adherence with all 3 rd party suppliers for warehousing, transport and other logistics services (e.g. pallets) Support the engagement and communication of the strategy to the relevant internal and external stakeholders Build effective working relationships with the UK&I Cluster and market teams, Go-to-Market teams, central colleagues and external suppliers and bodies. Delivers the implementation of the change programme and associated projects for the UK&I Cluster Coach and develop direct and indirect teams, managing performance, development, and talent conversations appropriately as a direct or matrix manager. You’re an experienced Logistics Manager, used to working in a FMCG environment and has managed complex 3 rd Party Logistics Providers & Contracts. You’re a confident communicator, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders. Plus, you’re a experienced people manager with the ability to create a positive team culture. Experience of leading multi-site, multi-function teams Evidence of developing & implementing strategic change Proven leadership skills that drive organisational and KPI based results.
