What will you be doing:
You’ll be working within the EMEA payroll team who are responsible for processing 14 entities across EMEA.
You’ll be processing and checking new starters, leavers and all changes prior to processing payroll, and ensure all reports are run and payrolls are following the company audit controls. As well as assisting with payroll projects including payroll system upgrades and data validation between the companies CRM and payroll systems.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
1. Delivering accurate, timely and compliant Payroll for aspects of the payroll cycle liaising with HR and country teams and ensure country procedures are followed.
2. Managing and delivery Payrolls against the agreed country schedules.
3. Preparation and Processing UK, EMEA & ACE payrolls for the following Countries: Czech, Denmark, Dubai, Finland, India, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Turkey with potential for further expansion.
4. Individually and as a team member striving to improve the systems, processes, and Payroll delivery environment to maximize the efficiency and accuracy.
5. Owning or contributing to specific company projects such as improving and/or changing systems, processes, or functions within the business.
6. Owning, managing, and resolving client escalations, seeking help and advice where needed.
7. Implement and Test changes required in the Payroll Application.
8. Raise Issue tickets with Payroll Vendor and manage them to resolution.
9. Manage the relationship with Payroll Vendor’s to ensure accurate and timely delivery of Payroll.
10. Working with the Assistant Payroll Manager to enhance and develop processes and procedures.
11. Proficient in the calculation of SSP and SMP.
12. Ensuring the accurate processing of New Starters and Leavers.
13. Filing of year end returns with relevant UK, European and ACE Countries.
14. Ensure Payroll is compliant including performing scheduled self-audit and SOX tests on Payroll related processes.
15. Assists with accounting functions in preparation, distribution and reporting of payroll ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
16. Assists with the Preparation of the monthly/quarterly payroll Journals.
What skills and experience should you have?
We’re looking for someone with knowledge and understanding of payroll related tasks who has ideally worked in a similar position as part of a large organisation.
You’ll be able to operate in a dynamic and changing environment, manage multiple deadlines, display a high level of professionalism and organisational skills, maintain confidentiality as necessary and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
