Do you want to be part of improving arts and cultural activities for young people in Calderdale?
The Voices of the Future group helps to shape arts and culture for young people in Calderdale. You’ll take part in a range of activities and meet local organisations through trying a range of different arts activities, sharing your ideas and opinions about what’s good or bad, and how it can be improved.
What is the commitment?
You’ll attend 1-2 sessions per month. One of these involves visiting a different arts venue in Calderdale each month on a Saturday, experiencing their activities and giving them feedback about what’s great and what could be better about their activities for young people. The other is an evening meeting, usually held at EdShift (7 Harrison Road, Halifax HX1 2AF).
What will you get from it?
* Your travel costs to venues across Calderdale will be covered.
* The chance to have your voice heard and make a difference to your local area.
* Relaxed time to meet new people, go to new places, take part in a range of creative activities and develop skills for future employment.
