The Maintenance Support Co-ordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of all facilities within the Restaurants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, be detail-oriented, and work efficiently to resolve issues promptly, minimizing any disruptions to guest services.
This role is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Manager and Operations team taking responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the estate.
The role will be field-based and will involve travel throughout the UK overseeing all of the brands within the portfolio. Must have access to both London and Birmingham.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Responsible for overseeing all maintenance efforts across the Boparan Restaurant Group
2. Managing the planned and reactive maintenance required to ensure the upkeep and function of the group’s brands
3. Perform routine inspections and scheduled preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to ensure functionality and safety
4. Ensure all maintenance work complies with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies
5. Respond to emergency calls and assist in handling any urgent repairs, including after-hours when necessary

About You:
1. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
2. Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety standards
4. Good communication skills to interact with staff and guests
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A collaborative and supportive team player
6. Basic computer skills for work order management
7. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekend and on-call shifts
8. Ability to travel to multiple locations
9. Full, clean driving license
