Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner
Wigan Talking Therapies- IAPT Band 6 Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner-permanent position.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within Wigan Talking Therapies. This opportunity will enable the successful applicant to work alongside the leadership team of a high-performing Talking Therapy service while being supported and supervised by senior staff.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the delivery of the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) delivered interventions within Wigan Talking Therapies. The role will offer opportunities to influence the development of Step 2 provision and develop innovative ways of meeting relevant population needs. There will be scope for audit, evaluation, networking and liaising with the wider health and social care system including voluntary agencies.
The clinical aspect of the role will include 1:1 sessions (remote and face to face), screening, C-CBT, group work, and telephone assessment with patients with common mental health problems. The successful applicant will be required to work one evening per week.

* Pay Enhancements: 30% additional for Evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays and 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to degree standard in a subject enabling the post holder to demonstrate psychological mindedness, e.g. psychology, social sciences or health. Post graduate certificate, Advanced Practice Interventions for Mental Health (APIMH) or equivalent Accredited with BABCP/BPS.
* Training in case management and/or clinical supervision for PWPs Diploma or Masters in APIMH or equivalent.
Experience
* Experience of working within an IAPT reporting service. Experience of working within the stepped care model and an understanding of CBT.
* Experience of supervising PWPs/mentoring trainees. Experience of assisting management with operational duties.
