Rowe Price is a global group committed to the development and delivery of engaging content to support sales, marketing, and client reporting activity. Content is developed for and used by multiple regions and market segments, which can include sophisticated institutional investors or intermediary and retail-level investors. The editorial team has associates based in Baltimore, London, and HK. The London team develops content primarily for investment strategies managed in the region, supporting local investment personnel, and aligning closely with marketing, sales, and client reporting stakeholders. Writers typically specialize in dedicated asset classes and strategies. An opportunity has arisen for an investment writer to join the editorial team in London, reporting to the Senior Manager, Investment Editorial. The writer will primarily develop content for client reports for a dedicated portfolio of fixed income investment strategies - including monthly, quarterly, and other reporting cycles. The writer will also support strategy specific content development for RFPs (request for proposals) and DDQs (due diligence questionnaires), and other thought leadership content. This is an opportunity for a talented writer looking to grow their writing and content career in asset management ROLE SUMMARY Applies in-depth understanding of assigned investment product(s) and market(s) to research, analyze, develop, and deliver investment content that captures the insights of our investment professionals from drivers of investment performance to thematic intellectual capital for shareholders and current and future clients for multiple portfolios. RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts research and assessment of the performance of funds and/or portfolios to develop insights on the investment strategy. Partners and consults with portfolio analysts on the assessment and interpretation of portfolio results in the development of written content and data visualizations Writes core investment content based on the analysis of portfolio performance. Applies writing guidelines and internal standards to drive consistency in investment content. Performs advanced quality review and inspects content for adherence to regulatory guidelines, coordinating with compliance and legal colleagues as necessary. Recommends new content topics of client interest. QUALIFICATIONS Required: College degree and three years of related work experience in asset management or financial services Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of financial markets and economics Ability to write about complex concepts in a compelling and engaging style Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with key editorial, investment, marketing, and reporting stakeholders Deadline-driven and ability to multi-task.
