Job Title: Website delivery project manager
Department: Communications & Engagement
Reports to: Head of Communications & Engagement (interim reporting to Communications Manager)
Location: London/Hybrid - expectation of two days per week in the office
Basis of Appointment: 18-month fixed-term contract, February 2024 - August 2025
Salary: £36,233 per annum
Hours: Part-Time; 4 days a week (31 hours), flexible working available

The UWC International Office, based in London and Berlin, manages global fundraising, communications, marketing, and supports over 150 national committees and schools worldwide in line with UWC’s strategic goals.
Team and Role Overview
The Communications & Engagement team leads internal and external communications, PR, and outreach, including managing the redesign and rebuild of the uwc.org website by August 2025. The role involves coordinating design, build, and delivery, managing stakeholders across the UWC movement, and ensuring project success.
Responsibilities
* Serve as main contact with web development agency, ensuring smooth communication.
* Manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
* Conduct content audits and oversee content migration or rewriting.
* Manage project budget, risks, and governance.
* Hold weekly meetings, report progress, and maintain documentation.
* Support testing and deployment phases.
Essential Skills and Experience
* At least three years of project management experience in website development or digital transformation.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills with familiarity with project management tools.
* Technical understanding of web development processes and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.
* Relevant project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Agile).
* Experience in education or charity sectors is advantageous.
