CLACTON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL RESET SHORT-TERM OFFSITE PROVISIONS SUPERVSIOR Pay Range: Local Government Pay Scale 5 Actual Salary from: £22,640 – £23,756 (Points 9 - 12) Start Date: ASAP The Role We are seeking an outstanding individual to manage, deliver and lead on the RESET and/or Short-term Off site Provision (STOP) to support students to make changes to their behaviour and develop a positive attitude to learning. The aim of this role is to support students accessing the RESET/STOP provision so that they can reflect on the impact that their behaviour has on their own learning and that of others, to develop and maintain positive relationships, successfully reintegrating and completing their studies, and being happy and safe at school. We are looking for a motivated person to complement the current CCHS team, to be a role model for our students, supporting those who require assistance in overcoming any barriers to learning so they are able to access the full curriculum in order to achieve their potential. The support team at CCHS is committed to our guiding principles of ‘Higher Expectations, Raising Aspirations, Transforming Lives’. The role of Assistant STOP Supervisor is expected to promote and instil these ideals, encouraging all students within their care to engage with their learning and to build positive, respectful and lasting relationships with others to become successful and valued citizens. This will be based at the Tendring Education Centre in Jaywick Lane, but also includes the main school site in Walton Road if required. The successful candidate will work under the day-to-day direction of the STOP Supervisor to support the management and delivery of the STOP programme working with a small group of students to develop a positive attitude to learning.
