Software Tester – Fully onsite working in Horsham No visa sponsorship is offered for this role, and the client will not consider people who will need visa sponsorship in the future either My client is a Financial Technology company who provide a Saas platform for UK clients in the insurance sector. They are looking for a Software Tester, who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their software products. We are looking for a Software Tester to work with their QA Test team on an IT award-winning SaaS system. You will be responsible for the quality assurance and testing of their SaaS system, including various integrations from 3rd party providers. As a Software Tester you will be collaborating with the Sof\tware Developers, helping to ensure efficiency throughout the process. Performing end-to-end test cases and providing feedback to the software development team as required. You will also further develop the test function through integration and system testing for a variety of new projects. This role is being offered on a full-time basis and requires on-site attendance in Horsham, West Sussex – there is NO remote working with this role. Their offices are located close to the town centre with nearby parking and shops (Horsham, West Sussex). Role responsibilities include: Contributing towards test planning. Collaborate with project teams to understand the scope of projects. Work closely with software developers and project support teams. Conduct various types of testing, including but not limited to functional, scalability, regression, discovery, stress and performance testing. Testing of development work to ensure the acceptance criteria has been met and that it functions in line with the development specification. Write and execute test plans. Test software in different environments, including web and mobile platforms. Document and communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues. Write bug reports and assess code quality. Identifying issues and raising tickets All other testing activities. Provide objective feedback to software development project teams. Troubleshoot issues and design tests to mitigate risks. Ensure adherence and working towards departmental and project deadlines. You will ideally have the following experience: A minimum of two years integration and system testing experience. Ideally within the financial services industry, would be an advantage but not essential A Degree in IT or similar qualification would be preferred Experience working with the .Net stack and specifically MVC would be an advantage but not essential Experience working with Azure DevOps and Kanban boards would be an advantage but not essential Experience with Automated Testing would be an advantage, but not essential Accreditation in Software Certified Testing (ISTQB or ISEB) would be an advantage but not essential As a software tester, working to deadlines, team collaboration, attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.
