Location: Hybrid between Maryport and travelling to various SIS sites and client locations
MAIN OBJECTIVES
* Sales – Generating new business opportunities and driving sales of artificial turf and turf system components.
* Business development – responsibility for adding and managing new third party / external accounts in order to grow the revenue and net margin.
* Identify and develop a continuous pipeline of high margin projects in line with the main business objectives.
* Key Account and relationship management - managing new and existing client relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES / TASKS
* Lead generation and business development – identify and implement ways to grow the business externally and proactively scout the market to identify and develop new opportunities and relationships.
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities via third party turf only sales and/or project sales.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including contractors, architects, distributors, and facility managers.
* Present and demonstrate artificial turf products and systems to potential clients, highlighting benefits and ROI.
* Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
* Provide ongoing support and account management to existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
* Maintain accurate sales records and reports using CRM software.
* Client and site visits.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies, promotional materials, and lead generation campaigns across traditional platforms and social media.
* Other Duties
o To undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time but that shall remain within the competency and skills of the post-holder.

External: Customers – new & existing, Trade associations and governing bodies
Internal: SIS Manufacturing, SIS UK Sales & Projects teams, SIS Contract Manager & Site Supervisors, Customer Service and sales team(s), Marketing

Sales experience is essential, experience relevant to the sports industry is desirable.
