Ward C03 consists of pre-admission area ,a 16 bedded post-operative area, a 4 bedded Enhanced Care Unit and a 26 bedded rehabilitation ward. We provide planned spinal and orthopaedic surgery for patients requiring hip replacement, knee replacement ,soft tissue knee re construction, shoulder and foot surgery. Main duties of the job The successful applicant will work alongside the band 7s to lead and manage a team of approximately 55 staff to ensure the smooth and proficient delivery of the service provided to our patients. This is also an opportunity to work alongside a highly specialist multi-disciplinary team, and to gain experience in Elective Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery, as well as delivering high quality, patients centred care. You should be flexible, well organised, resilient and able to meet the challenges and demands of a busy and diverse clinical speciality.
