The position provides effective and efficient support to nursing and medical staff as required. Includes all aspects of computer work for patients and general assistance in the day-to-day running of the Department.
Main duties of the job
To work as a team member within the work environment carrying out assigned tasks involving the direct/indirect care of the patient in support of, and supervised by, a registered nurse.
To deal with all aspects of administration work in the reception outpatients and ward area. To maintain a high standard of politeness when dealing with visitors/patients and staff. Accurate and timely data entry is a vital part of the role.

Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level with A-C grades in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
* Basic numeracy and literacy.
* Experience of Allscripts.
Skills and experience
* Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Ability to interact with colleagues and other stakeholders courteously.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Accuracy – pays attention to detail.

The ability to converse easily and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for all customer-facing roles.
