Job Overview We are seeking an Occupational Therapists to join our rotation, interested in developing their career in Carmarthenshire. Our rotations are every 6 months giving opportunities more regularly to learn new skills and be part of supportive and friendly teams. Carmarthenshire is an area of outstanding natural beauty with access to a wide variety of outdoor activities and cultural events, but also close to the M4. We can offer you experience in a wide variety of clinical areas, with options of rotational posts in specialties including: Medicine/frailty Trauma and Orthopaedics Acute Mental Health Mental Health Commissioning Intermediate Care stroke - supporting acute and community Community Front of House We proactively encourage learning and development and support preceptorship for your first year. There is also a band 5 group for peer support and learning. Mileage expenses are payable, and pool cars available. Main duties of the job You will be expected to work as part of a team to deliver high quality, evidence based and person centred occupational therapy, supporting our integrated model of care focused on enabling people to engage in meaningful occupations. You will have the support of an occupational therapy team, with opportunities to develop your practice and skills in a variety of areas. Working for our organisation Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties.
