Calling Strong, Experienced Team Leaders: It’s Your Time to Shine !!
Are You Ready for a Meaningful Career Change?
We are looking to recruit a strong, experienced Team Leader ready to take the next step in their career and become a Deputy Manager, with the ambition to one day step into a Registered Manager role. As a Deputy Manager, you’ll play an instrumental role in shaping a supportive, nurturing environment for children with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role offers you the opportunity to grow, learn, and pave the way for your future leadership journey.
The Role:
In this Deputy Manager position, you will:
* Collaborate with an experienced management team to provide hands-on care for 2-3 children in a brand-new home.
* Focus on creating a safe and nurturing atmosphere that fosters growth and development for each child.
* Learn the ins and outs of home management, from regulations to OFSTED preparation.
What’s in It for You?
* Guided Progression: Work in a company dedicated to your development, preparing you for future leadership roles.
* Mentorship: Benefit from hands-on guidance from a Dual Registered Manager who is committed to your success.
* Level 5 Qualification: We’ll enroll you in your Level 5 Diploma immediately and cover the cost, ensuring you have the skills to thrive.
* Supportive Environment: Join a culture that prioritizes therapeutic care, focusing on the well-being of both staff and children.
What You Need:
* A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Team Leader in a children’s residential setting (or a similar care environment).
* An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent.
* A passion for supporting children with SEMH and LD needs.
* A valid driving license (this role requires travel).
About You:
We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds in the care sector. Whether you come from an EBD home, SEMH environment, or other care settings, what matters most is your passion for working with children and your alignment with our values. If you believe in creating positive outcomes for children and have the drive to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
About the Company:
You’ll be joining a small, close-knit company with only a couple of other homes, all dedicated to creating unique environments tailored to each child’s needs. If you’re looking to escape the corporate world and work for a child-focused organization where your voice matters, you’ve found the right place. Regular contact with the owner means you’ll be involved in every step, contributing to a vision that puts children first.
Next Steps:
It all starts with your application! Once received, we’ll give you a call to discuss the role in more depth and take it one step at a time.
