Location: Edinburgh
Job Type: Temporary ongoing
Rate of pay: £14.76 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 36 hours per week or 4 on 4 off

We are seeking a skilled Hooklift Driver to support operations at our Client's busy Recycling Centre. You will play a crucial role in the efficient collection and transport of recyclable materials, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate hooklift vehicles to collect and transport recycling containers.
* Deliver materials to and from various recycling facilities and client sites.
* Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with safety standards.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
* Work closely with the recycling team to maintain high operational efficiency.
* Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
1. Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
2. Current CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
3. Valid tacho card
4. A recent medical check dated within the last 6 months
5. Previous experience operating hooklift vehicles is essential.
6. Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
7. Knowledge of Edinburgh's road network and surrounding areas.
