YMCA of the Roses is now hiring for Graham Aquatic Center Concession Stand Attendant. Seasonal hours from 12pm-6pm available.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Concession Stand Attendant maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals and responds to member and guest needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Follow the guidelines instructed by Pool Manager for safe food handling and disbursement.
2. Assist with daily set-up, preparation, and proper disbursement of food items to patrons.
3. Handle cash and other payments responsibly, balancing the register at the end of each shift.
4. Assist in proper cleaning of kitchen area and equipment/appliances daily.
5. Maintain clean, healthy and sanitary practices in keeping with the Department of City Health.
6. Practice proper hand washing procedures.
7. Know fire and emergency procedures; be prepared in emergency situations.
8. Maintain a positive attitude toward staff and pool patrons.
9. Assist in general cleaning tasks as assigned.
10. Attend all YMCA required training.
11. Attend staff meetings.
12. All other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum age of 14; must obtain work permit.
2. Ability to work with the public in a positive manner.
3. Must have or obtain CPR and AED certification.
