About the role
Are you a creative and innovative marketer with a passion for student recruitment? We’re looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to help develop and implement Bournemouth University’s marketing and communications activities, engaging prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students.
In this role, you will:
* Develop outstanding, innovative, and engaging content for both online and offline marketing campaigns
* Support the integration of UK student recruitment campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring consistency and effectiveness
* Provide digital and design support for BU’s student recruitment and outreach initiatives
* Create and manage content for BU’s website, external platforms, social media, email campaigns, and printed publications.
We are looking for a detail-oriented marketing professional with strong copywriting and communication skills and a solid understanding of marketing principles. You will have the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.

This post is offered on a part-time basis, at 22.2 hours per week.
This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’sPoints Based System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
About the department
Our Marketing & Communications department is made up of experts in student recruitment, design, digital, PR, market research and more, all of whom work to support BU’s strategic plan. We work with senior stakeholders to influence recruitment targets and support the university in shaping our portfolio to optimise recruitment. We embed effective internal communications activity throughout the University to ensure academic and professional services staff are well equipped and informed.
