Your role will be to provide activities in a safe, secure and fun environment, providing an outstanding service for busy parents. Premier Education successfully runs full Wraparound provision in primary schools in the Suffolk Area. Our Premier Wraparound centres are Ofsted registered and can provide high quality out of school care for the parents. We are looking for an outstanding applicant with experience to assist in leading our Coldfair Green Community Primary School, Saxmundham, Suffolk site. Official start date: September 2024 Key Attributes: Organized and Enthusiastic: Must be well-motivated, enjoy working with children, and take pride in their work. Reliable and Punctual: Must be consistently reliable with excellent time management skills. Confident Communicator: Must be comfortable dealing with parent questions and liaising with the school’s Senior Leadership Team. Responsibilities: Ensure reliable timekeeping and confidently handle parent inquiries. Direct staff to provide a stimulating and safe environment for all attending children. Collaborate effectively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team. Maintain high standards in wrap-around care that align with the school’s ethos. Manage weekly activities, menus, and communications with parents and school. Conduct regular equipment stock takes to maintain standards. Order ingredients for daily ‘healthy snacks’ for children. Responsively handle parent communications via email and phone. Ensure prompt reporting and logging of all first aid incidents on site. Organize CPD training for staff and develop termly activity timetables. Maintain accurate daily registers on site. Previous experience in a childcare environment is preferred. Essential: Experience working with children aged 4 to 11. Understanding of children's varied needs and family dynamics. Knowledge of quality play care principles and equal opportunities. Ability to provide and facilitate safe, creative play. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the organisation, parents, schools, and childcare and play-related agencies. Desirable: Level 2 (or above) qualification in Childcare. Experience in a play-based setting. IT skills for play and club administration. Ability to work independently. Training in safeguarding and child protection. Current 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate. Food Hygiene Certificate.
