We have an urgent requirement for a Field Support Engineer to provide Technical Support to field-based staff. The role will be based onsite in Titchfield on a rota basis and candidates will need to be eligible to go through SC level Security Clearance.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Diagnose technical issues affecting remote staff.
2. Test new equipment.
3. Monitor and respond to Service Desk calls logged by the field staff and Field Enquiry Line.
4. Support remote workers with various technical issues.
5. Diagnose faults, and research effective resolutions providing advice to quickly resolve.
6. Review and update instruction manuals to support the wider team with troubleshooting.
7. Support, when necessary, with building, testing and dispatching equipment, as well as manage the returns process.
Essential Skills include:
1. Strong IT knowledge.
2. Experience in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving user requests/incidents.
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to instruct and explain information simply to a non-technical audience.
4. Experience of working with a range of Microsoft 365 services.
5. Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
6. An awareness of data security principles.
7. Managing a quality service.
