Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
* Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN
* Assisting in the development of tailored learning plans for students with various needs
* Helping manage students’ emotional and social development, offering guidance and encouragement
* Supporting students with behavioural challenges and implementing strategies to manage these effectively
* Collaborating with teachers and SEN staff to track student progress and provide appropriate interventions
* Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a positive, inclusive learning environment
* Using your psychology knowledge to contribute to student well-being and promote mental health awareness
Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
* A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology or a related field
* A passion for supporting students with SEN and improving their educational outcomes
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, teachers, and parents
* Experience in working with children or supporting those with additional needs is desirable but not essential
* Creative and patient approach to managing students’ individual needs
