Role Overview
Seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Supervisor to join its growing team. This role involves overseeing multiple commercial sites and housing association voids, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be based at the Llanelli but will regularly visit sites to supervise teams and assess new job requirements. Working closely with the Operations Manager, the role provides essential support in the daily management of operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage operations across multiple sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to company standards.
* Supervise and support site teams, maintaining a high level of performance and adherence to project timelines.
* Visit new job sites to assess requirements and provide accurate pricing.
* Maintain clear and effective communication with the Operations Manager and wider team.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all projects.
* Conduct reference checks and license verifications to confirm workforce competency.
Person Specification
* Background: A trade background is highly preferred.
* Qualifications: An NVQ qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on approach.
* License: A clean valid driver’s license is required.
* Attributes: A proactive and independent worker who takes ownership of tasks.
