We are looking to recruit a proactive and experienced Project Manager to join a team working on the Eastern Highways Alliance based in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge and experience in the civil engineering sector, specifically in highways, infrastructure, or local authority projects.
About the role of Project Manager
The current role requires a Project Manager to oversee a package of works in the Eastern Highways Alliance. These projects will be in and around the Peterborough area. A successful Project Manager will manage the associated costs, budgets, and timelines of a project, as well as serve as a point of contact for client liaison and other stakeholders involved.
Responsibilities for Project Manager
A successful Project Manager can expect to be involved with or responsible for:
* Leading projects under local authority frameworks, including highways maintenance and new highways.
* Involvement in early-stage design, temporary works, and stakeholder engagement.
* Managing the procurement process, cost estimating, and contract negotiations.
* Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and best practices across the project.
* Identifying and managing project milestones and KPIs, as well as complying with CDM regulations.
* Managing the integration process involving subcontractors, including CPPs, WPPs, Task Briefs, and Quality Assurances (ITP).
* Overseeing supply chain and stakeholder management, alongside the site delivery team.
* Developing and implementing a risk and opportunity register for all projects.
Requirements for Project Manager
Our client will consider Project Managers who can demonstrate the following:
* MCIOB/ChPP.
* Degree or Equivalent.
* Experience in risk and risk management.
* A Full UK Driving License.
