The role involves providing expert OT services to children and young people. You will also support and mentor OT staff, ensuring high standards in assessment, intervention, and clinical governance across the Early Child Development (ECD) pathway. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team supporting young children with a range of developmental, sensory, and attachment challenges. Screen, triage, and assess referrals using a strengths-based approach. Contribute to risk assessment and care planning with children, families, and carers. Manage a caseload of children with complex long-term conditions and additional needs Promote evidence-based care in the community setting.
