The gynaecology outpatient department at Hinchingbrooke Hospital is a dedicated unit caring for women’s health across a wide range of specialities including colposcopy, hysteroscopy, early pregnancy, urogynaecology, fertility and general gynaecology. We offer 2ww, routine and urgent appointments, and work as a multi-disciplinary team including healthcare assistants, nurse specialists, physiotherapists and medical staff.

There will be clinical aspects to this role and the successful candidate should be knowledgeable in gynaecology procedures.

The successful candidate will support the Band 7, Outpatients Sister, and be responsible for the day to day management of the gynaecology outpatients department, including clinic utilisation and staffing.
The Deputy Sister will be a patient advocate and ensure safe, quality care for all service users. This will include clinical governance, audit and quality.
The role will include clinical sessions as well as staff support such as training, development and education of the team.
